About the Event
We have arranged to play two games against a club called Sporting Alfa’s. Their ground is in Spain 35 miles from Alicante airport in a town called Albir. Their ground, the Woodbridge Oval is situated 250m from a nice beach and 200m from the proposed hotel. More info on the club can be found here https://www.sportingalfascc.com
We intend to fly out on Friday 10th September, play games on Saturday and Sunday then fly back Monday. Times to be finalised, but the flights will hopefully be daytime.
The cost for this will be between £230 and £300 each with two people sharing a room. Hopefully we can reduce costs further but there are variables such as accommodation, transfer, match costs and flights.
We need to know numbers to gauge whether we have enough people interested in coming on tour AND playing cricket. You don’t have to play to come on tour but we do need 11+ players for obvious reasons. Please send Jason a note if you are interested in coming on tour and if so if you are also willing to play. Once we have an idea of numbers then we can decide if the tour is viable.
