Our resident Club Coach Tim van Noort has been planning a tour to beautiful Barbados over Easter (exact dates to be confirmed) 2020. It will be open to WC&TCC members & friends and we are just getting initial interest from people to begin with.
At this stage there is NO FINANCIAL COMMITMENT if you register interest.
Tim's initial target group is 11 players (boys or girls confident playing hard ball cricket) aged U13 – U15 in 2020. If there is interest from younger and older cricketers and we can get 22 players we will then split the group appropriately.
The tour will be run by Sporta Tours sportatours.com (ATOL PROTECTED) who Tim used to work with and made numerous trips to Dubai with as well as a trip to Barbados in 2011 with Bede’s School. Shai Hope who currently plays for the Windies was the Captain on that tour!
Players are welcome to travel alone as the tour will be fully managed, however it is a great opportunity for some sun, sea and sand for the whole family. We have 3 x t20 matches scheduled as well as the options of many excursions and ways to sample the local culture.

If you are interested please email Tim with players (within age group in 2020) and supporters who would look at travelling by the end of February. If you have any friends with children who play cricket and may be interested please forward the info onto them as we will not be marketing this outside the club personally.
