ECB Roadmap for the Return of Cricket
Updated: Jun 1
The ECB has issued it's roadmap for the safe return of cricket in England and Wales and it's good news. All being well, we should be able to return to outdoor nets from March 29 (more on this to come) and play our pre-season friendlies and of course therefore start the season on time.
Under Step 1 (B) of the roadmap below, outdoor cricket can return in organised fashion from March 29, following the same guidance as last year, which essentially allowed up to 30 participants.
Organised outdoor coaching can also return from the same date, providing it is in line with government guidelines and safeguarding ratios.
The committee will be reviewing this and what it means for us, and what we are able to offer as we head out of March into April, no doubt you'll be keen to start netting soon!
