As we enter 2022 the Club is very pleased to confirm that Martyn Swift has agreed to take on the role of 1st XI captaincy for the forthcoming season. Martyn joined the Club at the beginning of last year, had a great season and has settled in very quickly. He brings with him a fresh perspective and experience of playing at this level of cricket, both of which will be invaluable to our young side as we enter Division 2 and a big season ahead. He has our full support, and we wish him the best of luck
We would also like to take the opportunity to say a massive thank you to outgoing skipper James Howgate who took on the role a couple of years ago. James’s input has been invaluable, and he has done a fantastic job in steering the side towards success and the Club’s most impressive achievement to-date. Thank you James.
