The club is pleased to announce that Jordan Palmer-Goddard will be joining the club for the 2022 season as its new Senior Club Coach.
Jordan was introduced to the club by Matt Machan and is someone that Matt has worked with in recent years at both the Sussex Academy and Brighton College.
We are also very pleased to confirm that Matt remains committed to the clubs’ ambitions and will continue to be involved, working closely with Jordan and other senior club members.
However, due personal circumstances he has decided to take a step back from his coaching and playing commitments.
Jordan, who is in the process of completing his L3 coaching certificate, will be taking on the majority of Matts’ duties.
Jordan has played most of his league cricket as a top order batsman for Portsmouth CC 1st XI in the Southern Premier Cricket League, Div 1 but has recently moved back to Sussex and is now a PE teacher at Roedean School.
He will also be joining the club as a player and has already attended senior Saturday morning nets so is already getting to know a few people.
I am sure Jordan will be a great asset to the club so please introduce yourself to him when you can and make him feel welcome.
